The Mississippi Madawaska Land Trust will hold its annual Fall Colours Walk at Blueberry Mountain on Saturday, Oct. 3.

The fundraising event runs from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the cliffLAND property, 502 Hills of Peace Rd. in Lanark. The rain date is Sunday, Oct. 4.

Visitors can hike the five-kilometre round-trip trail through the forest to the Blueberry Mountain lookout. The route passes a waterfall and includes a short, steep climb near the lookout.

MMLT staff and experts will be on site to speak with visitors about the land trust’s conservation work, migratory birds and geological features.

Visitors can also stop at the Circle of Gratitude, which recognizes MMLT supporters.
