Applications for MRHA board recruitment are due April 10

REGIONAL — The Mississippi River Health Alliance is seeking candidates to serve on its allied boards of directors beginning in July 2026.

The alliance is a partnership between Almonte General Hospital, Fairview Manor, Lanark County Paramedic Service and Carleton Place & District Memorial Hospital.

The MRHA allied boards provide leadership and strategic direction to the organization’s four entities while overseeing key aspects of organizational performance.

The boards are seeking candidates with a broad range of skills. Experience or involvement in health-care leadership, information technology or legal services is an asset. Previous experience serving on a board or in a senior leadership role is also considered beneficial.

Board directors must be at least 18 years of age and live or work within the communities served by the Mississippi River Health Alliance.

Members of the professional staff, employees and their spouses, children, parents or siblings, or the spouse of any child, parent or sibling, are not eligible to serve unless permitted by a majority vote of the allied boards of directors.

The governance and nominating committee will interview potential candidates and make recommendations to the allied boards of directors for approval.

Application forms are available at mrha.ca/boardrecruitment or through the office of the president and CEO by calling 613-256-2514 ext. 2220 or emailing agh.info@mrha.ca.

The application deadline is Friday, April 10, 2026.

The alliance thanks all applicants for their interest. Only those selected for an interview will be contacted.
