STAFF WRITER

A major reconstruction project is set to begin on Craig Street in Perth this year as part of the town’s Asset Management Plan. The existing water and sewer infrastructure, originally built in the 1920s, has outlived its service life.

The project is in its early planning stages, with construction expected to start in late May and wrap up by the end of September. More details, including project timelines, will be released as they become available.

Residents will receive updates through hand-delivered notices, Block Captains, and online updates.

An open house will be held at Town Hall on Thursday, Feb. 6, from 4 to 6 p.m. in the POA courtroom. Town staff and engineering consultants will be available to discuss the proposed work, answer questions and gather public feedback.
