Fulford Academy is seeking reliable, hardworking, and team-oriented Kitchen Assistants to join our food services team.

Up to 24 hours/week
$22.00/hour

Responsibilities

• Assist with menu planning, meal preparation, cooking, and serving.
• Prepare ingredients and assist with breakfast, lunch, dinner, snacks, and special events.
• Receive food deliveries and assist with inventory control and proper food storage.
• Follow food safety, sanitation, allergy, and safe food-handling
• Clean and sanitize kitchen areas, equipment, dishes, utensils, refrigerators, and storage areas.
• Operate commercial kitchen equipment safely.
• Perform other duties as required.

Qualifications

• Previous kitchen or food-service experience is an asset.
• Food Handler/Safe Food Handling certification
• First Aid/CPR and WHMIS are recommended.
• Reliable, punctual, organized, and able to work in a busy environment.
