Head-on collision sends three people to hospital

A head-on collision west of Kemptville sent three people to hospital with life-threatening injuries.

It happened Friday, June 6, 2025, just before 6:00 p.m., on County Road 43 near Meadowglen Circle. A sport utility vehicle and another vehicle collided in the westbound lane.

All three people in the vehicles were transported to a regional trauma centre with potentially life-threatening injuries. Their conditions were all upgraded later that evening, but were still considered very serious.

County Road 43 reopened just before midnight when the on-scene investigation by Grenville OPP was completed. The investigation is continuing.
