Mississippi Mills events
Craft and Colour Vendor Market
Sunday, April 26, 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the Mississippi Valley Textile Museum, celebrate local Black, Indigenous, and People of Colour artisans! It’s an opportunity to support and chat with local talent and business owners. The market will have live music, and it is free to all. Donations are encouraged.
Shattered: Time in Pieces
Sunday, April 26, 2 p.m. at the Almonte Old Town Hall, the Almonte and District High School drama club presents an original student production that blends comedy and drama. The story follows four museum employees who uncover a mysterious artifact that sends them through time and myth as they try to piece together a shattered vase. The performance runs about 90 minutes plus intermission. Tickets are $15 and available locally or online.
Perth Ontario events
Festival of the Maples
Saturday, April 25, 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. in downtown Perth, celebrate one of the region’s sweetest traditions with a full day of maple-themed fun. The festival features local vendors, food, live entertainment, family activities and plenty of maple treats. Admission is free.
Maplefest Plaid Dance
Saturday, April 25, 7 p.m. doors open at the Crystal Palace, keep the celebration going with a lively plaid-themed dance featuring live music, a licensed bar and plenty of room to kick up your heels. Part of the Perth Festival of the Maples festivities. Tickets are $35 in support of the Hospice Hub.
Aeroforce: A Tribute to Aerosmith
Saturday, April 25, 8 p.m. at Farrell Hall, rock out to a high-energy tribute to Aerosmith featuring all the classic hits. Advance tickets are $35 online or $40 at the door. This is a 19+ event with a cash bar.

Friday, April 24, 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. at the Royal Canadian Legion Branch 95 (Lancaster Room), an informal gathering open to active and retired military, RCMP members and their families.
T.G.I.F. Dinner
Friday, April 24, 5:30 to 7 p.m. at the RCAFA Wing 443 Rideau, enjoy a hearty meal featuring stuffed pork loin roast, mashed potatoes, vegetables and dessert. Plates are $15, with takeout available. Cash bar on site. Everyone welcome.
Murder Under the Big Top
Friday, April 24 and Saturday, April 25, doors at 6 p.m. at the Smiths Falls Curling & Squash Club, step into a circus-themed murder mystery packed with secrets, suspects and interactive fun. Guests can enjoy carnival-style concessions included with admission while working to solve the crime before the final curtain. Tickets are $45 per person.
