Pakenham Maple Run Tour
Saturday, April 4 and Sunday, April 5, 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. at multiple locations, Pakenham area. The 22nd annual Maple Run Tour returns with seven stops featuring local artists, artisans and food producers. Visitors can explore painting, pottery, glass, jewellery, woodworking, textiles and more, along with artisanal food and maple products as part of Maple Weekend. Tour stops include heritage buildings, a cidery, brewery, sugar bush and the Cedarhill Tree Farm. Info: mapleruntour.com

Easter Egg Hunt in Stewart Park
Saturday, April 4, 11 a.m. Hundreds of Easter eggs are scattered in the park for kids ages eight and under with an adult to scoop up for prizes. Easter Bunny on site. Check out the fire truck and lots of other entertainment.

Pancake Breakfast
Saturday, April 4, 8 to 11 a.m. at Bethel United Church Rideau Ferry, 1500 Rideau Ferry Rd – Pancakes, sausages with Oliver’s Mapleworks maple syrup. Admission by free will contribution at the door,

Easter Family Fun Day
Saturday, April 4, 1 to 2 p.m. Kinsmen Pavilion, Lower Reach Park. Horse drawn wagon rides, games, door prizes and more. Free for all.

Sunday Funday Chicken Pickin’
Sunday, April 5, 1 to 4 p.m. at The Cove Inn. Enjoy a matinee with Shawn McCullough and his band including brother Dave “Fave” McCullough on bass and vocals and drummer Tom Uhryniw.
