Carleton Place Farmers’ Market
Saturdays at the Carleton Place Farmers’ Market in Market Square on Beckwith Street. The outdoor market runs from 8:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. and features local produce, meats, baked goods, maple products, flowers, artisan goods, and handmade crafts throughout the summer season. Jammin’ at the Junction featuring M & M Music
Thursday, July 23, 6:30 p.m. Carleton Junction, 42 Moore St. Enjoy a free outdoor concert. Bring a lawn chair or blanket.
Kemptville events
Kemptville Farmers’ Market
Sundays, the Kemptville Farmers’ Market is held at 200 Sanders St. from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. The market features local produce, baked goods, handmade products and community vendors throughout the season.
McDonald’s Corners events
McDonald’s Corners Agricultural Society Farmers Market
Sundays from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Agricultural Hall, 194 Cameron’s Rd. The farmers market runs every Sunday and features local vendors and products.
Merrickville events
Outerbridge Magic: Mysteries of the Keyhole House
Saturday, July 25 at 2 p.m. at The Pews, 100 St. Lawrence St. Experience an afternoon of mystery and illusion with acclaimed magician Ted Outerbridge.
The Arrogant Worms
Saturday, July 25, 7:30 p.m. The Pews, 100 St. Lawrence St. Canadian comedy music favourites perform live. Tickets are available in advance or at the door, subject to availability.
Mississippi Mills events
Almonte Farmers’ Market
Saturdays at the Almonte Farmers’ Market beside the Almonte library at 155 High St. The outdoor market runs from 8:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. with local produce, baking, meats, maple products, flowers, artisan goods and handmade items throughout the season. The 2026 market season runs to Thanksgiving weekend. More information is available at almontefarmersmarket.com.
Almonte Craft Beer Fest
Friday, July 24, 6:30 to 10:30 p.m. Almonte Old Town Hall, 14 Bridge St. Sample craft beer, cider and spirits from nine local producers while enjoying live music by Sussex and opening act Jones-Finn, plus food vendors overlooking the Mississippi River. Doors open at 6 p.m. This is a rain-or-shine, 19-and-over event. Tickets are $20 plus HST and fees; $25 at the door.
Pakenham Family Fun Horse Show
Saturday, July 25, 9 a.m. Pakenham Community Park, beside the Stewart Community Centre. This one-day grassroots horse show features halter, English and Western riding, miniature horse driving, obstacle trail classes and a costume class. Spectator admission is free. Riders can enter for $20 for the day or $5 per class, with advance registration closing Thursday, July 23.
Perth Ontario events
Perth Farmers’ Market
Saturdays at Perth Farmers Market in the Tay Basin at Crystal Palace, 31 Basin Ln., Perth. The outdoor market runs from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. throughout the season and features local produce, baking, meats, preserves, artisan goods, crafts and live music. The 2026 season runs Saturdays to Thanksgiving weekend, with additional Harvest and Christmas markets planned later in the year. More information is available through Perth Farmers Market
Port Elmsley events
Port Elmsley Drive-In
Thursday, July 23, through Sunday, July 26. Port Elmsley Drive-In Theatre, 333 Port Elmsley Rd. Gates and the grill open nightly at 7:30 p.m. On Thursday, Moana (PG) begins at 9:05 p.m., followed by Toy Story 5 (G). Friday through Sunday features movies to be announced, with showtimes at 9:10 p.m. on Friday and 8:45 p.m. on Saturday and Sunday. Admission is $15 for ages 13 and older and $6 for children ages five to 12. Thursday is Carload Night for $30.
Rideau Lakes events
Crosby Flea Market
Saturdays in Crosby from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. beginning May 18. Located at the intersection of Highways 15 and 42 between Smiths Falls and Kingston, the Crosby Flea Market features baked goods, preserves, jewelry, maple syrup, antiques, household and garage sale items, crafts, toys, books, movies and more. A food stand is also on site, with locally grown vegetables to be added as they come into season.
Crosby G. Varley Gallery
Open daily from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. at 12 Narrows Lock Rd., Crosby. The gallery features original oil, watercolour and acrylic paintings.
Crosby Stevenson Farms
Located at 360 Narrows Lock Rd., about two kilometres north of Crosby, past the Varley Art Gallery. Stevenson Farms offers locally raised lamb produced through an ethical farming system with no herbicides, pesticides or steroids. Products are sold frozen and packaged at the farm. Organic vegetables are also available in season.
Delta Fair
Thursday, July 23, through Sunday, July 26. Delta Fairgrounds, 110 Mill Creek Dr. Four days of agricultural exhibits, entertainment, midway fun and fair traditions. Daily admission: $10 (13 and older), $2 (ages five to 12), free for children under five.
Smiths Falls events
Thursday Night Cruise-In
Thursdays at 5:30 to 8 p.m., Settlers Ridge Centre, 275 Brockville St. The public is invited to view classic vehicles. Weather permitting.
Movies Under the Stars: Hoppers
Thursday, July 23, 7 p.m. Centennial Park beneath the water tower. Pre-show entertainment features Fur, Features & Fins Petting Zoo and the Smiths Falls Public Library. Movie begins at dusk. Admission is free; donations are appreciated.
Smiths Falls By the Rideau Market
Friday, July 24, 3 to 7 p.m. Lower Reach Park, Old Slys Rd. Browse local vendors at the market’s new location. Runs every Friday through Oct. 2.
Fish and Chips Night
Friday, July 24, 4 to 7 p.m. Royal Canadian Legion, 7 Main St. E. Dine in or take out. One-piece fish and chips are $15. Pre-orders begin after 3 p.m. Friday while quantities last.
Pop-Up Clog Dancing 101
Friday, July 24, 6 to 6:30 p.m. Lower Reach Park. Free introductory clog dancing session for ages eight to 108. Bring sneakers and water.
Let’s Roll!
Friday, July 24, 6 to 8 p.m. Smiths Falls Memorial Community Centre, 71 Cornelia St. Roller skating for all ages. Admission is $2 per skater. Helmets are required for anyone 18 and under.
The Big Art Walk at the Falls
Saturday, July 25, 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Downtown Smiths Falls. Meet more than 16 local artists, enjoy live music, children’s activities, refreshments and prize draws. Tickets are $10.
Rideau Artist of the Year 2026 Competition
Saturday, July 25. Hosted by the Smiths Falls Heritage House Museum. Artists from across the Rideau corridor will compete in this celebration of local creativity and landscape art.
Summer Train Rides
Sunday, July 26, 11:30 a.m. to 2 p.m. Railway Museum of Eastern Ontario, 90 William St. W. Ride in a historic caboose and explore the museum. Tickets are $16 and include museum admission.
Westport events
Westport Market
Saturdays at 38 Concession St., from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. The open-air outdoor market runs every Saturday from July 4 to Sept. 5 and features local vendors, artisans and seasonal products throughout the summer.
