Carleton Place events
The Pipes Are Calling: A Tribute to Our Veterans
Friday, June 26 at 6 p.m. at the cenotaph in Veterans Memorial Park. Members of the MacEoin-Ramsay Pipe Band will perform a free outdoor concert honouring local veterans as part of the Royal Canadian Legion’s centenary celebrations. The weekly series continues every Friday through Sept. 4, rain or shine.
Carleton Place Farmers’ Market
Saturdays at the Carleton Place Farmers’ Market in Market Square on Beckwith Street. The outdoor market runs from 8:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. and features local produce, meats, baked goods, maple products, flowers, artisan goods, and handmade crafts throughout the summer season. Mississippi Car Show
Sunday, June 28 from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. at Riverside Park, 137 John St. Dash plaques will be available for the first 250 vehicles. A barbecue and 50/50 draw will be offered, with a rain date of July 5.
Kemptville events
Kemptville Farmers’ Market
Sundays, the Kemptville Farmer’s Market is held at 200 Sanders St. from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. The market features local produce, baked goods, handmade products and community vendors throughout the season.
McDonald’s Corners events
McDonald’s Corners Agricultural Society Farmers Market
Sundays from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Agricultural Hall, 194 Cameron’s Rd. The farmers market runs every Sunday and features local vendors and products.
Merrickville events
Outerbridge Magic: Mysteries of the Keyhole House
Saturday, June 27 at 2 p.m. at The Pews, 100 St. Lawrence St. Experience an afternoon of mystery and illusion with acclaimed magician Ted Outerbridge.
The Plowboys
Saturday, June 27 at 7:30 p.m. at The Pews, 100 St. Lawrence St. Enjoy an evening of live music. Tickets are $35 plus tax and fees in advance or $45 plus tax at the door.
Merrickville Classic Car Show
Sunday, June 28 beginning at 9 a.m. at the Merrickville Fairgrounds. Spectators can enjoy a showcase of classic vehicles with free admission.
Sunday Matinee Showcase with Gabrielle Salmon
Sunday, June 28 from 2 to 4 p.m. at The Pews, 100 St. Lawrence St. Admission is pay what you can at the door, with bar service available.

Almonte Farmers’ Market
Saturdays at the Almonte Farmers’ Market beside the Almonte library at 155 High St. The outdoor market runs from 8:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. with local produce, baking, meats, maple products, flowers, artisan goods and handmade items throughout the season. Perth Farmers’ Market
Saturdays at Perth Farmers Market in the Tay Basin at Crystal Palace, 31 Basin Ln., Perth. The outdoor market runs from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. throughout the season and features local produce, baking, meats, preserves, artisan goods, crafts and live music. Port Elmsley Drive-In
Friday, June 26; Saturday, June 27; and Sunday, June 28 at the Port Elmsley Drive-In, 333 Port Elmsley Rd. Toy Story 5 screens at 9:10 p.m., followed by The Sheep Detectives. Gates and the grill open at 7:30 p.m.
Rideau Lakes events
Crosby Flea Market
Saturdays in Crosby from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. beginning May 18. Located at the intersection of Highways 15 and 42 between Smiths Falls and Kingston, the Crosby Flea Market features baked goods, preserves, jewelry, maple syrup, antiques, household and garage sale items, crafts, toys, books, movies and more. A food stand is also on site, with locally grown vegetables to be added as they come into season.
Crosby G. Varley Gallery
Open daily from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. at 12 Narrows Lock Rd., Crosby. The gallery features original oil, watercolour and acrylic paintings.
Crosby Stevenson Farms
Located at 360 Narrows Lock Rd., about two kilometres north of Crosby, past the Varley Art Gallery. Stevenson Farms offers locally raised lamb produced through an ethical farming system with no herbicides, pesticides or steroids. Products are sold frozen and packaged at the farm. Organic vegetables are also available in season.
Rideau Lakes Studio Tour
Saturday, June 27 and Sunday, June 28 from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. at participating studios throughout Rideau Lakes. The self-guided tour features artists working in painting, pottery, sculpture, photography, fibre arts, glass and woodcraft. Visitors can meet artists in their studios, learn about their creative process and purchase original works. Admission is free.
Smiths Falls events
Thursday Night Cruise-In
Thursdays from 5:30 p.m. to 8 p.m. at the Settlers Ridge Centre parking lot, 275 Brockville St. The weekly cruise night welcomes car enthusiasts and spectators alike, with the public invited to come out and view a variety of classic and specialty vehicles.
SFDCI Wall of Honour Ceremony
Thursday, June 25 at 7 p.m. at Smiths Falls District Collegiate Institute, 299 Percy St. The ceremony recognizes individuals who have made significant contributions to the school and community.
The Foursome
Thursday, June 25 at 7:30 p.m.; Friday, June 26 at 7:30 p.m.; Saturday, June 27 at 7:30 p.m.; and Sunday, June 28 at 2 p.m. at Smiths Falls Community Theatre, 53 Victoria Ave. Norm Foster’s comedy follows four friends navigating life, golf and unexpected challenges. Tickets are $25 for adults and $10 for students and children.
Smiths Falls By The Rideau Market
