Carleton Place events
Carleton Place Farmers’ Market
Saturdays at the Carleton Place Farmers’ Market in Market Square on Beckwith Street. The outdoor market runs from 8:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. and features local produce, meats, baked goods, maple products, flowers, artisan goods, and handmade crafts throughout the summer season. Mighty Machines fundraiser
Saturday, June 6 from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. at 3 Francis St. in Carleton Place. The family-friendly fundraiser in support of Carleton Place Childcare Services features mighty machines and unique vehicles, a barbecue, bake sale, local vendors and activities for all ages. Admission is a minimum donation of $2 per family, cash only. Proceeds support infant, toddler, preschool and school-age programs and help enhance classroom environments and learning experiences.
The Big Give at St. James Anglican Church
Saturday, June 6 from 9:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. at St. James Anglican Church. The annual Big Give event features hot dogs, treats, drinks, music, crafts, games and family activities as part of a community celebration of generosity.
Author Visit with Steph Mulley
Saturday, June 6 from 11 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. at the Carleton Place Public Library. Local author Steph Mulley will present her debut picture book, It’s Scratchy, It’s Catchy, and I Don’t Like It. The family event includes activities, refreshments and copies of the book available for purchase for $16 each.
Legion Euchre Tournament
Saturday, June 6 from noon to 4 p.m. at the Royal Canadian Legion Branch 192. Admission is $20 per person and includes lunch. Lunch begins at noon, with cards starting at 1 p.m. No pre-registration is required.
Crafternoon Kids
Sunday, June 7 from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. at A Bunch of Whimsy. The all-ages drop-in creative afternoon takes place every other Sunday and encourages parental participation. Admission is pay what you can, with a suggested donation of $5. Organizers note that drop-in does not mean drop-off.
Kemptville events
Kemptville Farmers’ Market
Sundays, the Kemptville Farmer’s Market is held at 200 Sanders St. from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. The market features local produce, baked goods, handmade products and community vendors throughout the season.
McDonald’s Corners events
McDonald’s Corners Agricultural Society Farmers Market
Sunday, June 7 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Agricultural Hall, 194 Cameron’s Rd. The farmers market runs every Sunday and features local vendors and products.
Merrickville events
Sunday Matinee: Spencer Scharf
Sunday, June 7 beginning at 2 p.m. at The Pews. The weekly matinee series features live local musicians with pay-what-you-can admission at the door.
Mississippi Mills events
Almonte Farmers’ Market
Saturdays at the Almonte Farmers’ Market beside the Almonte library at 155 High St. The outdoor market runs from 8:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. with local produce, baking, meats, maple products, flowers, artisan goods and handmade items throughout the season. Perth Farmers’ Market
Saturdays at Perth Farmers Market in the Tay Basin at Crystal Palace, 31 Basin Ln., Perth. The outdoor market runs from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. throughout the season and features local produce, baking, meats, preserves, artisan goods, crafts and live music. The 2026 season runs Saturdays to Thanksgiving weekend, with additional Harvest and Christmas markets planned later in the year. More information is available through Perth Farmers Market
Port Elmsley events
Port Elmsley Drive-In
Friday, June 5 and Saturday, June 6 at the Port Elmsley Drive-In Theatre. Movies include Masters of the Universe at 9:05 p.m., followed by Michael. Gates and grill open at 7:30 p.m. Admission is $15 for ages 13 and older and $6 for children age five to 12.
Rideau Lakes events
Crosby Flea Market
Saturdays in Crosby from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. beginning May 18. Located at the intersection of Highways 15 and 42 between Smiths Falls and Kingston, the Crosby Flea Market features baked goods, preserves, jewelry, maple syrup, antiques, household and garage sale items, crafts, toys, books, movies and more. A food stand is also on site, with locally grown vegetables to be added as they come into season.
Crosby G. Varley Gallery
Open daily from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. at 12 Narrows Lock Rd., Crosby. The gallery features original oil, watercolour and acrylic paintings.
Crosby Stevenson Farms
Located at 360 Narrows Lock Rd., about two kilometres north of Crosby, past the Varley Art Gallery. Stevenson Farms offers locally raised lamb produced through an ethical farming system with no herbicides, pesticides or steroids. Products are sold frozen and packaged at the farm. Organic vegetables are also available in season.
Gestural Floral Painting Workshop – Newboro
Saturday, June 6 and Sunday, June 7 from 9:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. at Stone Manor Studios. Artist Janet Slavin leads a two-day oil painting workshop focused on the 40-stroke painting method, encouraging artists to simplify and paint with intention. Registration is $399.
Rideau Lakes Antique & Classic Car Club Flea Market, Craft Sale & Car Show
Saturday, June 6 and Sunday, June 7 beginning at 8 a.m. at the Lombardy Agricultural Society Fairgrounds. The weekend event features vendors, collectibles, crafts and a classic car show. Admission on Sunday is $5 per person, with children 12 and under admitted free with an adult.

Smiths Falls By The Rideau Market
Friday, June 5 from 3 p.m. to 7 p.m. at Lower Reach Park on Old Slys Rd. The market continues every Friday until Oct. 2 and is operating under new management at a new location.
Rain Barrel and Native Plant Sale
Saturday, June 6 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the REAL Deal Store, 85 William St. W. The sale features rain barrels and native plants for gardeners and homeowners.
Smiths Falls Pride Flag Raising
Saturday, June 6 beginning at 11 a.m. at Town Hall, 77 Beckwith St. N. The event includes the Pride flag raising, give-aways, information booths, tattoos, face painting, a free BBQ and cupcakes. Residents are invited to celebrate inclusion, diversity and community.
Smiths Falls Flying Club Fly In Breakfast
Sunday, June 7 beginning at 8 a.m. at the Smiths Falls-Montague Airport, 102 Van Exan Dr. Breakfast is $10 per person, with children under 12 admitted free.
Spring Carnival
Sunday, June 7 from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Heritage House Museum. Admission is by donation. Activities include entertainment, a bouncy castle, face painting, petting zoo, vendor market, outdoor games, Heritage Demons, Tinkerbell and more.
Bingo
Sunday, June 7 from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. at the Smiths Falls Civitan Club, 12468 Hwy. 15 N. Doors open at 11:30 a.m. and the canteen will be available. This is the final bingo until September.
The Great Spring Sing!
Sunday, June 7 beginning at 1:30 p.m. at St. John the Evangelist Anglican Church, 2 George St. S. Local church and community choirs will perform. Admission is free, with donations of food or money accepted in support of the Smiths Falls Community Food Bank.
Toledo events
Sunday Country Dance & Dinner featuring Harry Adrain & Friends
Sunday, June 7 at Royal Canadian Legion Branch 475. Doors open at 1 p.m., dancing runs from 2 p.m. to 5 p.m., followed by a full-course dinner at 5 p.m. Tickets are $25 per person.
Westport events
Saturdays at the Westport Market
Saturday, May 30 at the Westport Market, 38 Concession St., from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. The open-air outdoor market runs every Saturday from May 16 to Aug. 29 and features local vendors, artisans and seasonal products throughout the summer.
Mikhail Laxton Live at The Cove
Saturday, June 6 from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. at The Cove Country Inn. Musician Mikhail Laxton brings a blend of Americana, country, folk rock and blues to the Cove stage. Admission is $10.
Westport Legion Veterans Breakfast
Saturday, June 6 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at Royal Canadian Legion Branch 542. The legion is hosting a free breakfast for veterans. Attendees are asked to RSVP by email to reserve a spot.
Westport Lions Club Fish Fry
Saturday, June 6 from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. at Sand Lake Beach. The annual fish fry offers takeout pickup from 4 p.m. to 5 p.m. or dine-in service at the Beach House from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. Tickets are $20 and available through Lions Club members or the club’s Facebook page.
Sundays with Eric & Meghan
Sunday, June 7 from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. at The Cove Country Inn. Musicians Meghan Balogh and Eric Uren perform acoustic folk music featuring fiddle and guitar during the weekly Sunday evening series.
