Carleton Place events

Carleton Place Farmers’ Market
Saturdays at the Carleton Place Farmers’ Market in Market Square on Beckwith Street. The outdoor market runs from 8:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. and features local produce, meats, baked goods, maple products, flowers, artisan goods, and handmade crafts throughout the summer season. Lanark County Fishing Show & Tackle Swap
Saturday, May 30 from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. at Brunton Hall, 2022 Beckwith Park Lane, Carleton Place. Admission is $3 or $2 with a food bank donation.

Kemptville events

Kemptville Farmers’ Market
Sundays, the Kemptville Farmer’s Market is held at 200 Sanders St. from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. The market features local produce, baked goods, handmade products and community vendors throughout the season.

Merrickville events

Merrickville Wooden Boat Show 2026
Saturday, May 30 from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. and Sunday, May 31 from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. at Sirens Boatworks, 253 Amelia St., Merrickville. Features more than 65 antique and classic wooden boats, live music, vendors, food and a Beavertails truck. Free admission. Shuttle bus service will run from marked stops in town due to limited parking on site.

Mississippi Mills events

Almonte Farmers’ Market
Saturdays at the Almonte Farmers’ Market beside the Almonte library at 155 High St. The outdoor market runs from 8:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. with local produce, baking, meats, maple products, flowers, artisan goods and handmade items throughout the season. The 2026 market season runs to Thanksgiving weekend. More information is available at almontefarmersmarket.com.

Lanark County Interval House Golf Fore Change Tournament Fundraiser
Friday, May 29 at Mississippi Golf Club. The third annual mixed golf tournament fundraiser includes 18 holes of golf, cart, swag bag and BBQ lunch, plus a chance to win $10,000 in a hole-in-one contest. Teams of two or four welcome. Proceeds support women and children fleeing violence and abuse through Lanark County Interval House.

Amazing Almonte Garage Sale
Saturday, May 30, throughout Almonte. The inaugural community-wide garage sale encourages residents to declutter while supporting the Almonte General Hospital Fairview Manor Foundation. Participants can add their sale locations to a virtual map at www.almontegaragesale.ca. Event also features a bottle drive coordinated by Gagne Homestead Animal Rescue and post-sale cleanup support from Dan’s Dump Run.

Perth Ontario events

Perth Farmers’ Market
Saturdays at Perth Farmers Market in the Tay Basin at Crystal Palace, 31 Basin Ln., Perth. The outdoor market runs from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. throughout the season and features local produce, baking, meats, preserves, artisan goods, crafts and live music. The 2026 season runs from May 9 to Thanksgiving weekend, with additional Harvest and Christmas markets planned later in the year. More information is available through Perth Farmers Market.

Golf for Kids Sake
Saturday, May 30 at Mapleview Golf and Country Club. Hosted by Big Brothers Big Sisters of Lanark County.

Port Elmsley events

Port Elmsley Drive-In
Friday, May 29 and Saturday, May 30 at the Port Elmsley Drive-In, 333 Port Elmsley Rd. Movie listings are to be announced. Gates and grill open at 7:30 p.m. with showtime at 8:45 p.m. Admission is $15 for ages 13 and older and $6 for children age five to 12.

Rideau Lakes events

Crosby Flea Market
Saturdays in Crosby from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. beginning May 18. Located at the intersection of Highways 15 and 42 between Smiths Falls and Kingston, the Crosby Flea Market features baked goods, preserves, jewelry, maple syrup, antiques, household and garage sale items, crafts, toys, books, movies and more. A food stand is also on site, with locally grown vegetables to be added as they come into season.

Crosby G. Varley Gallery
Open daily from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. at 12 Narrows Lock Rd., Crosby. The gallery features original oil, watercolour and acrylic paintings.

Crosby Stevenson Farms
Located at 360 Narrows Lock Rd., about two kilometres north of Crosby, past the Varley Art Gallery. Stevenson Farms offers locally raised lamb produced through an ethical farming system with no herbicides, pesticides or steroids. Products are sold frozen and packaged at the farm. Organic vegetables are also available in season.

Smiths Falls events

Smiths Falls By The Rideau Market Day
Friday, May 29 at Lower Reach Park, Old Slys Rd., from 3 p.m. to 7 p.m. The Smiths Falls By The Rideau Market is under new management and operating from a new location. The market runs every Friday until Oct. 2.

Fish & Chips Night at the Legion
Friday, May 29 from 4 to 7 p.m. at the Royal Canadian Legion Smiths Falls, 7 Main St. E. Dine in or take out. One-piece fish and chips is $15 with extra fish available for $10. Pre-orders begin after 3 p.m. Friday at 613-283-2101.

Plant Sale
Saturday, May 30 from 8 a.m. to noon at St. Francis Masonic Hall, 46 Russell St. W. One hundred per cent of proceeds will be donated to the Smiths Falls Gordon Pipe Band.

Trunk & Treasure Sale & Huge CWL Bake Sale
Saturday, May 30 from 9:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. at Hanley Hall parking lot, 17 Elmsley St. N. Features one parking lot packed with dozens of garage sales and a large bake sale.

Town Wide Yard Sale & Porchfest
Saturday, May 30 from 10 a.m. to 10 p.m. throughout Smiths Falls. Residents across town will host yard sales and live music performances throughout the community.

20th Annual Peter Larmand Outdoors Kids Fishing Tournament
Saturday, May 30 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at Lower Reach Park. Rain or shine. Registration is $10 per child, $25 per family of three and $5 for each additional child.

Smiths Falls Comicon
Saturday, May 30 from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the Smiths Falls Memorial Community Centre, 71 Cornelia St. Admission is $5 online, $10 at the door and free for children 12 and under.

Y2K Country Night
Saturday, May 30 at 8 p.m. at Smiths Falls Community Theatre, 53 Victoria Ave. Features a live performance by The Coyote River Band. Tickets are $20.

Screening of No More Silent Battles
Sunday, May 31 at 1 p.m. at Smiths Falls Community Theatre, 53 Victoria Ave. Screening will be followed by a Q&A with the film team. Presented by the Alzheimer Society Lanark Leeds Grenville.

Toledo events

Super Euchre
Sunday, May 31 at 12:30 p.m. at Royal Canadian Legion Branch 475 Toledo, 320 County Rd. 8, Toledo. Entry fee is $20 plus a $5 enhanced chance. Doors open at 11 a.m. Food and beverages will be available for purchase.

Westport events

Saturdays at the Westport Market
Saturday, May 30 at the Westport Market, 38 Concession St., from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. The open-air outdoor market runs every Saturday from May 16 to Aug. 29 and features local vendors, artisans and seasonal products throughout the summer.

Sundays with Eric & Meghan
Sunday, May 31 from 5 to 8 p.m. at The Cove Inn, 2 Bedford St., Westport. Meghan Balogh and Eric Uren perform acoustic folk music featuring fiddle and guitar.
