Saturday, Sept. 6, 8:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m., beside the library on High Street. Local produce, crafts, food and sharpshooting knife sharpening.

Carleton Place

Carleton Place Farmers’ Market
Saturday, Sept. 6, 8:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m., Market Square Pavilion, 7 Beckwith Street. Local produce, baking and handmade treasures. 

Rock the Pantry
Saturday, Sept. 6, 1 to 5 p.m. at the Royal Canadian Legion, 177 George St. Carleton Place
Everyone welcome, $10 entry; silent auction, raffle, 50/50 draw, featuring Liquid Courage, Valley Katz, music by Colby Drummond and Cait Porteous. In support of the Lanark County Food Bank.

Lanark

Valley Fall Fest
Saturday, Sept. 6, Clyde Memorial Ball Park, Lanark, 10 a.m. until late. Inaugural event, live entertainment, buskers, car show, vendor market, family fun zone, outdoor movie night (8 p.m.). Lots for the whole family to enjoy. 

Montague

Pit BBQ
Saturday Sept. 6, 5 to 7 p.m. at Rosedale Hall, 657 Rosedale Rd. S. Barbecue beef or pork, $20 per person, 12 and under free. Tickets available at township office, from any firefighter or at the door. For deliver orders call 613-285-5303 by 4 p.m. day of event. This event is hosted by Township of Montague Fire Service.

Perth

Perth Farmers’ Market
Saturday, Sept. 6, 8 a.m. to 1 p.m., at Crystal Palace. Riverside setting with produce, prepared foods and artisan crafts.

Parkinson’s SuperWalk
Saturday, Sept. 6, 9:30 a.m.  to 12:30 p.m. at Conlon Farm. Opening ceremonies at 10:15 a.m. refreshments, and closing ceremonies at 12 noon.

Smiths Falls

Open Air Market
Friday, Sept. 5, 3 to 7 p.m. at Centennial Park, 2-22 Confederation Dr. Pick up some produce, check out the crafters and artisans. Food available on site. 

Downtown Music Series
Saturday, Sept. 6, listen to the sounds of Vicki Brittle from 1 to 2:30 p.m. at the Town Square Bandstand, 77 Beckwith St. (Beside Town Hall). 

Curling and Squash
Saturday, Sept. 6, 9:30 to 12 p.m. Open House at the Smiths Falls Curling ad Squash Club. Drop by and learn about squash and curling services and courses. Memberships and drop-in options available. 

Ladies Darts
Sunday, Sept. 7, at the Settlers Ridge Centre, hosted by the RCAFA 443 Rideau Wing. Every Sunday from 6 to 9 p.m. starting this weekend. New players welcome. Contact Linda at 613-283-3668 for details.
