Saturday, Oct. 11, 7 p.m. at the Almonte Old Town Hall, 7 p.m. as part of the Festival of Small Halls. This performance is a globally acclaimed artist known for their raw vocal power, magnetic stage presence, and ability to forge deep connections with audiences.
Almonte Farmers’ Market
Saturday, Oct. 11, 8:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m., beside the library on High Street. Local produce, crafts, food. This is the last farmers’ market of the season.
Carleton Place events
Ashley MacIsaac
Friday, Oct. 10, 7 p.m., at the Carleton Place Arena, as part of the Festival of Small Halls. $45. Ashley plays the fiddle with an intensity, authenticity and passion that is hard to deny.

Saturday, Oct. 11, 8:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m., Market Square Pavilion, 7 Beckwith Street. Local produce, baking and handmade treasures.

Craft Night
Friday, Oct. 10, 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. or 6:30 p.m. at the Rosedale Hall. This is a fall floral centrepiece evening and the cost is $15 per person. Cash bar, space is limited. Call the Montague Township office to register, 613-283-7478.

Perth Autumn Studio Tour
Saturday, Oct. 11 and Sunday, Oct. 12, this is a beautiful way to experience fall in picturesque Perth and area during this event that has been going since 1993. There is an exceptional display of high-calibre, traditional and contemporary work in a wide variety of media. Fire Prevention Week open house
