Every member of Montague Township’s current council has filed nomination papers for the Oct. 26 municipal election.
Incumbents Reeve Karen Jennings is seeking another term, along with Deputy Reeve Jeff Carroll.
Incumbent councillors Jim Abbass, Gerald Crabtree and Trevor Johnson have also filed for re-election.
As of July 23, no challengers had filed nomination papers for any of the municipality’s five elected positions, according to the township’s certified candidate list.
Nomination papers may be filed until 2 p.m. Aug. 21. Election day is Oct. 26.
