MRHA Long Service Awards recognize service milestones ranging from 5 to 40 years
The Mississippi River Health Alliance (MRHA) recognized staff, medical staff and recent retirees during its 2026 Long Service Awards celebration on June 3 at Almonte General Hospital.
The event honoured staff and medical staff from Almonte General Hospital, Carleton Place & District Memorial Hospital, Fairview Manor and Lanark County Paramedic Service who have dedicated years — and, in many cases, decades — to serving local communities.
This year’s recipients marked service milestones ranging from five to 40 years, reflecting the commitment, compassion and professionalism that continue to strengthen health care across the region.
“Behind every year of service is a person who has made a difference in the lives of patients, residents, families and colleagues,” said Brad Harrington, president and CEO of the Mississippi River Health Alliance. “Today is an opportunity to recognize not only years of service, but the lasting impact these individuals have had on our organization and our communities.”
Special recognition was given to Heather White, who was honoured for 40 years of service in health care within the MRHA.
The MRHA also recognized recent retirees whose contributions helped shape the organization and the communities it serves.
The alliance extended its congratulations and gratitude to all 2026 Long Service Award recipients.
