9th Annual North Pole Express: A magical journey to the heart of the holidays

The Railway Museum of Eastern Ontario is thrilled to announce the return of its beloved annual event, the 9th Annual North Pole Express. This enchanting holiday tradition promises to transport families to a world of wonder and magic, right in the heart of Smiths Falls.

All Aboard the North Pole Express!

The North Pole Express is a cherished community event that has been capturing the hearts of families for nearly a decade. It’s an unforgettable adventure that brings the spirit of the season to life, and this year, it’s set to be more magical than ever. Our 2023 events will feature professional photos with Santa in the Dining Car, Stories with Mrs. Claus, hayrides, Santa Grams in the Telegraph Office, Christmas carolers, hot cocoa, and Christmas vendors.

Dates to Remember

Mark your calendars for the following Saturdays in December: November 25, December 2nd, and December 9th, when the Railway Museum of Eastern Ontario will transform into a holiday wonderland fit for a Hallmark movie (which have been shot here!). Families are invited to embark on a journey of joy and delight as they board our festively decorated vintage trains for a round-trip experience.

Family Fun and Festive Atmosphere

The North Pole Express experience isn’t limited to the train ride alone. The Museum grounds will be transformed into a holiday festival filled with seasonal activities. Families can revel in the joy of the season and create treasured memories together. And our guests can check off their Christmas lists – there is something for everyone in our charming gift shop!

Limited Seating – Book Early!

The popularity of the North Pole Express means that seating is limited. To ensure that you don’t miss out on this magical journey, be sure to book your tickets in advance. Visit our website rmeo.org or Eventbrite for ticket information.
