Mississippi Mills update on COVID-19

Further Municipal measures taken

This morning CAO, Ken Kelly activated the Municipal Emergency Management Control Group with a subsection of the group meeting to discuss the current COVID-19 situation as well as further measures taken.

The following measures will be taken in addition to the measures announced on March 13th:

  • Postponement of March 17th Council and Committee of the Whole meeting
  • All municipal offices will be closed to the public.

While the offices will be closed to the public, staff will still be available to serve residents through e-mail and phone. The main phone line is 613-256-2064. The main e-mail is town@mississippimills.ca. We thank you for your patience and cooperation during this time.

Should you require to drop off documents or a payment you can do so via the drop box located at the main entrance of the Municipal Office (3131 Old Perth Rd).

The municipality will continue to monitor the situation as it evolves and take direction from the Provincial government, Health Unit and Lanark County. As always, we encourage all residents to be prudent and follow the directive from the Health Unit on how to protect themselves and their family.
