OPP needs help identifying persons responsible for a major theft in Lanark Highlands

Lanark County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) is seeking assistance from the public to help identify the person or persons responsible for a major theft from a property on Boyd’s Road in Lanark Highlands Township. The theft occurred sometime between 4 p.m. on Saturday, Oct. 3 and 8:45 a.m. on Sunday, Oct. 4. The person(s) who are being sought stole a black tandem PJ trailer. The trailer, which is described as a 16’x7’ flat deck unit, was carrying two Polaris all-terrain vehicles. The ATVs are described as a 2012 S5H, orange in colour and a 2010 S5H, green in colour. Also stolen were two Stihl chainsaws, model 391 and model 363CM and a 28 foot extension ladder.
