Ontario Land Tribunal case dates set regarding proposed subdivision

SUBMITTED

The second Case Management Conference (CMC) about the appeal submitted by Perthmore Enterprises Inc. (Case Number OLT-24-000210) was held on Wednesday, June 19. Representatives for the Town of Perth, Lanark County, and Perthmore Enterprises, as well as several interested parties, joined the virtual session.

During the CMC, representatives for all parties stated that they are working together through the list of draft conditions and issues list. It was agreed that the complete Procedural Order and Issues List will be provided to the OLT by Friday, August 9, 2024.

Logistics of the OLT hearing were discussed between members of the OLT and counsels for the applicant, Town of Perth, and Lanark County, including the length of the hearing and scheduling. A five-day video hearing has been scheduled from Monday, November 4- Friday, November 8, 2024, beginning at 10 a.m. Members of the public are welcome to attend the hearing and can join virtually or by telephone at 1-888-299-1889 (Access code: 943-363-669).

The Town will continue to provide information to the public relating to this OLT hearing as it is available, through the Town’s website and social media. As the matter is now one of a legal capacity, Town staff and Council are not able to provide comment on the case. Questions regarding the process can be sent to the CAO, Michael Touw, at cao@perth.ca
