An evening of unforgettable entertainment awaits at the Perth Night Market

Perth Tourism’s much-loved Perth Night Market returns next Saturday, September 14, 2024.

This year’s event, beginning at 5 p.m., will feature a dynamic lineup of entertainment that will captivate audiences of all ages. Alongside over 90 artisans, crafters, and makers, the streets of Perth will come alive with performances and activities that showcase the incredible talent within our community and beyond. 

“We’ve expanded our programming to ensure that there’s something for all ages to enjoy – from interactive activities for children to live performances for adults,” says Cathy McNally, Director of Community Services. “Our goal is to create an experience that brings people together for this incredible event, no matter their age.” 

Highlights of the evening’s entertainment include; 

  • Family fun: free face painting by Pixie Pie Face Painting and outdoor games to be enjoyed throughout the night by those young and young at heart. 
  • Live art: François Pelletier will a masterpiece live during the event, offering a unique experience for art lovers of all ages. 
  • Stilt drummers: Luciano Hilario Goncalves & the Stilt Drummers Collective will take to the streets for two lively performances. 
  • Circus acts: Professional circus and street performer Rockabilly Joe will add a touch of the extraordinary to the evening with his juggling and acrobatics.
  • Musical performances: Enjoy live music all night long at various locations, featuring local talents such as the Three2Go Band, Matt Dickson, and Kahlil Bailey.

Beyond the entertainment, Perth’s shops will stay open late, allowing you to explore the town’s charming shops. Indulge in delicious food and drinks at one of our many restaurants and pubs or enjoy takeout in the scenic Stewart Park along the Tay River. 

Street closures be in place to allow guests to move freely, and a convenient shuttle service will be available from 2 p.m. to 10:30 p.m., running from several parking lots on the outskirts of Perth to the event area.
