He was remanded into custody following a bail hearing.

On Wednesday, May 21, 2025, DION was released from custody following an appearance before the Superior Court of Justice in Perth.

The OPP wants to assure everyone that public safety is paramount, and all threats are taken seriously. We are releasing the individual’s name, description and photograph (attached) out of an abundance of caution.

The individual is:

  • White
  • 168 cm (5’6″) tall
