Facilities close in Perth until further notice

In order to help protect the public, the Town of Perth has decided to close the following public facilities until further notice:

  • Perth and District Indoor Pool
  • Perth and District Community Centre (Arena)
  • Perth Museum
  • Tourism Informaiton Centre

The Town will continue to monitor the situation as it evolves and will take direction from the Health Unit and the Provincial and Federal Governments. As always, we encourage all residents to be prudent and follow the advice from the Health Unit on how to protect themselves and their families.

Mayor John Fenik states, “The closure of these Town facilities is necessary at this time to protect the citizens of Perth from the spread of the COVID-19 virus.”

For additional information on dealing with COVID-19, contact the Leeds, Grenville & Lanark District Health Unit at 1-800-660-5853 or visit their website at healthunit.org/coronavirus/
