Saturday, July 19, 8:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m., beside the library on High Street. Local produce, crafts, food and sharpshooting knife sharpening. Ideal stop before Celtfest. 

Carleton Place

Carleton Place Farmers’ Market
Saturday, July 19, 8:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m., Market Square Pavilion, 7 Beckwith Street. Local produce, baking and handmade treasures. 

Park Party – Coleman Park
Saturday, July 19, join the fun at the Park Party from 10 a.m. to 12 noon. Located at 243 Nelson St. E. Enjoy this new park, play some games, enjoy some refreshments, and meet your neighbours.

Stewart Park Festival
July 18 to 20, Stewart Park: Get ready to kick off summer with a splash at the Stewart Park Festival this weekend. It’s your go-to celebration for live music, artisan goodies, and family fun right in the heart of Smiths Falls. Whether you’re tapping your toes to enchanting tunes, savouring local eats (hello, maple-glazed treats!), or enjoying free crafts and workshops, this vibrant event brings our whole community together in full summertime spirit. 

Perth Farmers’ Market
Saturday, July 19, 8 a.m. to 1 p.m., at Crystal Palace. Riverside setting with produce, prepared foods and artisan crafts.

Rideau Lakes

Chaffey’s Lock: Table 9 will entertain the masses on July 19 at 8 p.m. at the Chaffey’s Lock Community Hall. Enjoy this five-piece party band playing hits from pop to rock to country and hip-hop. For tickets, click here.

Elgin: Music in the park, July 20 1 to 3 p.m. Jenn Mann, all genres, and the Wild Parsnips with Matthew and Hermann, folk and original tunes. Bring a chair and water. Filling station on site. Free concert, donations in support of the South Crosby Public School playground equipment.

Smiths Falls

Open Air Market
Friday July 18, 3 to 7 p.m. in Centennial Park, produce, crafters, food truck. Every Friday until Oct. 10. 

Spaghetti Dinner
Friday July 18, 5:30 to 7 p.m. it’s the T.G.I.F. dinner at the RCAFA 443 Rideau Wing Hall, Unit #5 (at rear of building), Settlers Ridge Centre, 275 Brockville St. Enjoy the spaghetti dinner with salad, dinner roll and dessert; $15 per plate and takeout available. Everyone welcome, and registration is recommended by calling 613-283-9292

Craft Night at Rosedale Hall
Paint Night July 18 at 7 p.m. Paint Nite with Joyce of Art: Graffiti Flower, 657 Rosedale Hall, Rosedale Rd. S., $15 per person. Register at the Montague Township Office.

Sunday, July 19, from 7 to 11 p.m. a tribute to Neil Young, Tom Petty and the Rolling Stones.

Westfest at the Lions Beach
July 19, until 4 p.m. entertainment by Chicken Pickin’. Bring your lawn chair and enjoy the day. 

Westport Car Show
July 19, 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Lockwood Park, Westport. Hot rod and custom showcase, People’s Choice Awards, auto vendors and exhibitors, electric cars, fire trucks, pinstripe demo and music by the Retro Kings. Food trucks on site.
