The Carleton Place & District Chamber of Commerce, in partnership with the Smiths Falls & District Chamber of Commerce and the Perth & District Chamber of Commerce, is inviting local businesses to a virtual meeting to provide information about how to engage with Lanark County’s Think Local campaign along with marketing insights and inspiration for the holiday season.

The virtual meeting is scheduled for Wednesday, Nov. 10, at 12 p.m. Businesses and community organizations are invited to register at the following link: https://us02web.zoom.us/meeting/register/tZAodOuqrzMiH9KK Fc1OIr1UiCFCeai-058

The information session will include a panel of Lanark County marketing and social media experts who will provide information, tips, and inspiration for how businesses can maximize their marketing focus this holiday season. The panel will feature Toby James from Cat’s Cove Communications, Lisa Strangway from The Marketing Station, and Sherry Crummy from Crummy Media Solutions.

In addition to presentations from the panel, businesses will also be given access to a marketing toolkit they can use to promote their business and encourage people to think local when making both everyday and holiday purchases.

“We are really excited to introduce Lanark County businesses to the Think Local program,” said Jackie Kavanagh, Manager of the Carleton Place & District Chamber of Commerce. “This information session will introduce businesses to the campaign and give them some creative ideas for how to promote their business this holiday season.”
