Mississippi Mills businesses recognized at Long-Standing Business Appreciation Night

SUBMITTED

The Municipality of Mississippi Mills saluted members of the business community October 24 as our Long-Standing Business Appreciation Night returned for the first time since 2018.

Traditionally held in celebration of National Small Business Week, the Municipality recognized local small business owners who have achieved 10 (new this year), 25, 35, 50 and 65+ years in business in Mississippi Mills. Each business owner was presented with a certificate and pin after which guests enjoyed a dessert buffet featuring treats purchased from local businesses.

“Small Business Week is the perfect time to celebrate our seasoned entrepreneurs and visionaries in Mississippi Mills,” said Mayor Christa Lowry. “These business owners have sparked innovation, created employment opportunities, and contributed to the economic growth and health of our local community. We are so fortunate to have a thriving community of small business owners and family-run businesses.”
