OPP SEARCHING FOR SUSPECT

Individual Considered Dangerous, Do Not Approach

(PARHAM, ON) – The Frontenac Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) is asking the public to be on the lookout for an individual following an incident in Parham, Ontario.

Shortly after 8:30 p.m. on June 7, 2020 OPP officers responded to reports of gunshots in the Village of Parham. One person was treated for non-life-threatening injuries. A fire, which started in a residence, spread to an adjacent church, causing extensive damage.

Several homes in the community have been evacuated as a precaution. Highway-38 is closed in the Parham area, with police roadblocks in place.

Members of the OPP Tactics and Rescue Unit (TRU), OPP Emergency Response Team (ERT), OPP Canine Unit, OPP Crisis Negotiators as well as members several other detachments are searching for a suspect in the area.

Police are presently looking for Brian Daniel MOSHER, age 42 of Central Frontenac. He’s described as white, approximately 188 centimetres (6 feet) tall, 115 kilograms (255 pounds), with grey hair. See attached photo. He was last seen wearing a black shirt and beige shorts.

It’s not known if MOSHER has gained access to a vehicle.

If you see Brian MOSHER, do not approach. Call 9-1-1 immediately. If you have any information on his whereabouts, please call the Frontenac OPP at 1-888-310-1122.
