Perth Library launches Community Survey

The Perth & District Library is launching a Community Survey for the public to share their ideas and opinions about the library and its services. The Library will use the survey to update their two-year Agility Plan.

The library’s current Agility Plan runs from 2022 to 2023. Its main objectives are: to make the library more equitable, diverse, inclusive and accessible; raise the profile of the library; offer programs that connect people, at the library, virtually or off-site; and ensure the library is funded to meet current and future operational needs. The full agility plan with detailed goals is available on the library’s website at www.perthunionlibrary.ca/agilityplan.

“We’re looking for feedback from everyone in our community, whether they use the library or not”, said Erika Heesen, CEO. “We want to check in and see if we are meeting the community’s needs – and if not, what we can do to change that.”

The information gathered in the survey will be used to inform the library’s future goals from 2024 to 2025.  Everyone who completes the survey will have a chance to enter to win a book bundle. To take the survey, please visit www.perthunionlibrary.ca/survey by November 30. Paper copies are also available at the library.
