Notice of appeal received by the Town of Perth regarding proposed Perthmore subdivision expansion

SUBMITTED

The Town of Perth has recently received notice that Perthmore Enterprises Inc. – the developer of the Perthmore subdivision located within the municipality – has submitted an appeal to the Ontario Land Tribunal regarding the Zoning By-law Amendment applications for Phase 6 of the development. A notice of appeal has also been issued to Lanark County pertaining to the Draft Plan of Subdivision.

As the matter is now transitioning to one of a legal capacity, Town staff and Council are not able to comment. Furthermore, Town staff and Council no longer have the ability to make a final decision on the subject as a result of the appeal. Information will be released to the public when possible as the Town proceeds through the Appeals Process.

For more information regarding the Appeals Process, please visit the Ontario Land Tribunal website.
