Lanark County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) is seeking assistance from the public to help identify the person or persons responsible for a break, enter and theft at the Hopetown General Store. At 1:54 a.m. on Monday, May 4 an unknown person(s) forced their way into the business where they stole various items. It is believed the person(s) involved are male and that they were driving a silver-coloured motor vehicle.

If you have any information on this or any other crime, please call Lanark County Crime Stoppers (LCCS) anonymously at the toll-free number 1-800-222-TIPS (1-800-222-8477). All calls to LCCS are confidential and telephone calls are not taped.
