On Sunday November 8, 2020 at approximately 6:41 p.m., police conducted a traffic stop on Elm Street east. Investigation revealed that the 59 year old driver, Henry VERHOEVEN, of North Gower was deemed to be impaired by a combination of alcohol and drugs by a Drug Recognition Expert Officer.

As a result, VERHOEVEN was arrested and stands charged with impaired driving while impaired by a combination of alcohol and drugs. His driver’s licence was suspended for 90 days and vehicle impounded for 7 days.
