The Lanark County Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) has charged a Stittsville resident with sexual assault.
Officers began an investigation on Saturday, July 11, 2026, regarding allegations of a sexual assault that occurred in April 2026. The alleged assault took place while the victim was at a business in Beckwith Township.
As a result of the investigation, Jeremy Finn, 53, of Stittsville, was arrested and charged with sexual assault.
The accused was released from custody and is scheduled to appear before the Ontario Court of Justice at a later date.
The Lanark County Crime Unit is assisting with the investigation. Police are asking anyone who has information that may be relevant to call 1-888-310-1122.
