Suspicious person on foot town of Perth

On July 21, 2020, just after 10:30 p.m., Lanark County OPP received a call from a concerned citizen who had encountered a suspicious male in the Town of Perth around 10:00 p.m.

The citizen reported the person, on foot, acting suspiciously in several locations within the Gore/Wilson/Foster block of town. The male was initially seen heading north on Gore Street and is described as:

  • Height between 5’8″ and 6’0″ (173-183 cm) tall
  • Caucasian male but very tanned complexion
  • Dark, short hair sticking out of a red ball cap
  • Dark eyes
  • Possibly dark goatee and mustache
  • Stocky, thick build, approximately 250 lbs
  • Wearing shorts

The incident is still under investigation at this time and anyone with information is asked to contact police at 1-888-310-1122 or Lanark County Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-TIPS.
